Start with the measurement, then choose the silhouette. Compare a necklace you already like with the listed chain length. For a bracelet, measure your bare wrist and follow that exact product's wrist range. Pendant size, chain length, bracelet length and wrist circumference are different measurements.
The three measurements that prevent most sizing mistakes
- Chain length is the full end-to-end length of the necklace, including the clasp as specified on its product page. It is not the pendant's vertical drop.
- Pendant size describes the pendant. A 25 mm pendant does not mean a 25 cm chain.
- Wrist circumference is the measurement around your wrist. A bracelet's total length includes its construction and closure, so it is not automatically the wrist size it fits.
Choose a necklace length with a real reference
Lay a necklace that fits you well straight against a ruler. If you do not have one, use a soft cord around your neck while standing naturally; mark the length, remove it and measure it flat. Keep the tape or cord loose and comfortable. Compare lengths while wearing the neckline you use most often. Chest and neck proportions, clothing and pendant weight all change where a necklace rests.
For inches, divide centimeters by 2.54. The inch values below are rounded. The product's metric measurement is the reference.
Compare verified RAWNESS necklace measurements
| Design | Pendant size | Chain length | What changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold Brick — S | 12 mm | 50 cm / 19.7 in | Compact pendant and shorter listed chain. |
| Gold Brick — L | 19 mm | 58 cm / 22.8 in | Both pendant size and chain length increase. |
| Classic Barbell — Medium | 25 mm | 54 cm / 21.3 in | Same chain length as Large; a smaller pendant. |
| Classic Barbell — Large | 35 mm | 54 cm / 21.3 in | Larger pendant without changing the listed chain length. |
| Star Series Dumbbell — Small | 29 mm | 54 cm / 21.3 in | Smaller pendant with the shorter chain. |
| Star Series Dumbbell — Large | 35 mm | 64 cm / 25.2 in | Larger pendant and longer chain. |
Do not assume every RAWNESS necklace uses the same chain. For example, the Crystal-Set Dumbbell page confirms 21 mm and 32 mm pendant sizes but does not confirm a numerical chain length. Ask before ordering if chain length determines your choice.
Measure your wrist without double-counting fit allowance
- Wrap a flexible tape around your wrist just above the wrist bone, where you intend to wear the bracelet.
- Keep it comfortably against the skin, without squeezing or leaving a loose loop. Record the number in centimeters.
- If the product lists a wrist range, compare your bare-wrist measurement directly with that range. Do not add extra centimeters first.
- If the product lists only bracelet length, do not treat it as a wrist-fit guarantee. Ask about the inner fit and clasp, especially for thick links.
- If you sit at a boundary, compare a bracelet that already fits and contact us with your measurement and preferred fit.
Bracelet examples: wrist range versus bracelet length
| Design / option | Confirmed measurement | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| 10 mm Square-Link Cuban — Small | Fits 14–16 cm wrists | Choose by bare-wrist circumference; check the product page for other size options. |
| Dumbbell & Weight Plate Combo — Large, Silver | 21.5 cm bracelet; fits 18–20 cm wrists | Use the 18–20 cm wrist range, rather than the bracelet length. |
| Fa Cai Mahjong Bracelet — 18 cm | 18 cm / 7.1 in bracelet, plus extender | Extender length is not specified; confirm the intended wrist fit. |
| Fa Cai Mahjong Bracelet — 21 cm | 21 cm / 8.3 in bracelet, plus extender | The stated length does not itself establish a 21 cm wrist fit. |
Buying a gift without guessing
Measure a necklace or bracelet the recipient already wears, with their permission. For bracelets, an exact wrist measurement is more useful than a general label such as “medium.” If a measurement is missing from the product page, send the product link and the measurement you need to service@rawness.us before ordering. For product ideas, see our 2026 Gym Jewelry Gift Guide and check the selected option’s current availability.
Wear your training identity between sessions
These are jewelry pieces, not training equipment. Remove necklaces and bracelets before heavy lifting, contact sports or activities where they could catch on equipment. Follow each product's care instructions, especially for stone settings, resin, plating and mixed materials.
Frequently asked questions
Does choosing a larger pendant always give me a longer chain?
No. The Classic Barbell Medium and Large both list a 54 cm chain. Gold Brick S and L list different pendant sizes and different chain lengths: 50 cm and 58 cm.
Should I add centimeters before choosing from a wrist-size range?
No. Compare your bare-wrist circumference directly with a product range labeled as wrist size. A listed bracelet length is a different measurement.
What is the chain length of the Crystal-Set Dumbbell Necklace?
The current product description confirms 21 mm and 32 mm pendant sizes but does not specify a numerical chain length. Contact service@rawness.us to confirm before ordering.
Can I wear a necklace or bracelet while lifting?
Remove jewelry before heavy lifting, contact sports or any activity where it could snag. Follow the specific product care instructions for other activities.
Can I return an eligible item if the fit is wrong?
Request a return or exchange within 7 days of receipt and obtain approval before sending it back. Standard returns require unworn, unused items in original condition and packaging. Customers pay shipping for preference or sizing returns. Exceptions and applicable statutory rights are explained in the Return & Refund Policy.
